Linda Nerenberg is an Licensed Educational Psychologist .In 1981 she received her bachelors degree in Psychology at the University of Minnesota. In 1995, she received her Masters degree in Counseling and School Psychology. She received her credential in Pupil Personal Services and worked for 12 years as a School Psychologist for Cajon Valley Union School District. In 2003 Linda began her Neurofeedback training ,and has been in private practice since that time. She is one of the first Neurofeedback therapists in San Diego.
She is board certified by the Biofeedback International Alliance in EEG (See www.BCIA.org). Linda has also been trained as a general biofeedback practitioner. She serves as a BCIA mentor providing classes which help others become certified in Neurofeedback. Linda is also an American Psychotherapy Association Board Certified Professional Counselor.
Linda started her Neurofeedback practice in 2003. She now serves San Diego as one of the leading ADHD specialists in Neurofeedback. Her speciality is in the area of attention deficits and learning problems. However, Neurofeedback has also been extremely helpful in the areas of sleep disorders, autism, pain, anxiety, and depression. She also works with test anxiety and peak performance training for academics and sports.
Linda has worked as a Neurofeedback consultant for Southwest Community College as an Adjunct Counselor , overseeing their Neurofeedback program for at risk students. Linda often works in coordination with many Neurologists, Psychiatrists, and Therapists, in the San Diego area. Together, they develop a treatment plan which includes traditional medical therapies complimented with Neurofeedback.
Her Peak Performance Neurofeedback program works with adults and children who want to enhance performance in academics , business or sports. Its has been very successful in helping raise test scores such as the SAT and ACT She uses a combination of Biofeedback and Neurofeedback to target areas of the brain and body which help increase sharpness, better memory, and performance.
